Wishing all our staff, contractors, customers and friends a very Merry Christmas and we hope you have a fun, festive and safe New Year’s Eve and here’s to a prosperous 2018 for us all. It’s time to reflect…
…It’s been an exciting and challenging year at Cadman Homes, starting with our office move in February which saw us move into the iconic “Rugby Advertiser Building” on the corner of Albert Street and Castle Street (we don’t like to move very far)!
It couldn’t have been possible without the support of our customers so thank you. Each time we need to fit another desk in the office we have to move it seems!
I’ve been busy getting ready to officially launch “Character” by Cadman Homes. Our unique service for selling and letting interesting and country homes will offer a loyalty and rewards program as well as a 24/7 “Concierge” for you to call day or night with your property questions or needs and beautiful, cost effective marketing for your property. We will also get your property seen by agents and buyers in 93% of prime London postcodes ensuring that your property is visible to the affluent “commuter” market. We’re ready to launch officially in the new year after 15 trial cases this year that have all resulted in sales, lets, and most importantly, satisfied customers!
We’ve partnered with local and national businesses to offer incentives and promotions to our customers, including the London Sock Company, Naked Wines and CV22 The Rugby Company to name a few.
The lettings team have integrated an app to our website that allows tenants to report issues in numerous languages and includes video help guides and a photo upload facility to make our maintenance response as quick and efficient for all, and as cost effective as possible for the landlord.
We’ve seen the fall out from Brexit, tenancy fee legislation and other legal and regulatory challenges. Whatever the politicians do, we promise that the service you receive will not be negatively impacted by any of this.
Of course everyone reeled at the atrocities of Grenfell Tower and the terrorist attacks at home and abroad. While it would be wrong to be commodify these events it’s worth mentioning the increased awareness of fire safety regulations and the duty of care that landlords and property managers have. We have instructed fire safety audits on all properties with communal areas, above and beyond the legal requirements to ensure the safety of our tenants and peace of mind for our landlords.
Parice Richards joined us in March this year as an office administration apprentice and is progressing well. It’s a hard industry for school leavers to dive into, but like Tamara before her, has taken to it like a duck to water.
We’ve had a bumper sales year in spite of a “challenging” market and hold up well against our competitors. I am still busy putting properties on the market while other agents are telling me that they are “dead quiet” and counting the days until Christmas.
If you are looking to buy or sell, let or tenant a property in Rugby, Lutterworth, Coventry or Leamington then please get in touch. Whatever you do this festive season, have fun, stay safe and remember we are here for you whatever the weather.
